Neon Signs

For the retro look neon signs are making a comeback. Available in a variety of colours it can be used internally or externally. If it is at low level we will install unto clear perspex cases or powder coated steel cages. Neon is available in different diameters from 10mm to 18mm.

All our neon is made in the UK which ensures top quality material is used in the manufacture. This minimises the chance of breakage and ensures that the sign can be left on for long periods of time without issues arising. Our Transformers which boost the power from 240 volts to between 1000 volts and 10,000 volts depending if argon or neon is used, are all high quality, European manufactured, and CE marked.

Being produced in the UK means that the glass used has a thicker wall that cheaper far eastern products. It will be hand bent locally and all the components will be of a high quality. As the signs are made by hand they are not particularly cheap. But we think the extra cost of a locally produced product will avoid the disappointment of issues arising from lower quality imported ones.

LED Neon

LED neon is a relatively recent product. While not having the retro impact of neon it is much more economical and safer to use in low level situations. As with neon it is available in a variety of colours.

The system is more robust and suitable for high traffic areas needing less protection. Meaning it can be installed in bar counters and used as low level lighting accents. It’s easier to install, gives off less heat and is much more economical to run, with systems consuming either 12V or 24V of power.

Systems can be attached to a dimming capability and used as part of a controlled lighting system.
